The gameplay involves exploration, puzzle-solving, and interactions with non-playable characters (NPCs). Players control Tintin as he investigates various locations, talks to people, and gathers clues to unravel the mystery.
Early reviews of the PC and console versions highlighted numerous bugs: characters clipping through geometry, soft-locks during puzzle sequences, and audio desync in cutscenes. The Switch version was not immune.
