Instead of breaking down in tears and apologizing immediately after the Foal Free Press issue exposing Diamond Tiara’s secret (about her mom’s cutie mark), the CMC realize that everypony in town has been hurt by gossip — including the adults who are now scolding them. So they decide to write before shutting down the paper.
