The Nova 5T custom ROM scene is alive thanks to a small group of dedicated developers on Telegram. While not as easy as a Pixel, the device is a sleeper hit. With a fresh ROM, the Kirin 980 still benches competitively with a Snapdragon 778G.
Boot into recovery. Go to Wipe > Format Data . Type "yes". This removes file-based encryption. Reboot back to recovery.
