Agent 47 is defined by his cold, robotic, monolithic presence. Olyphant, conversely, excels at playing charismatic, jittery, or morally conflicted characters. In this film, he seems too "pretty" and too emotional; he walks with a swagger rather than a purposeful march. He lacks the intimidating, bulky silence that defines the character.
