Bhansali doesn’t just shoot scenes; he paints them. Ram-Leela is drenched in the electric blues, fiery reds, and glittering golds of Gujarat. The costumes, designed by Anju Modi and others, are elaborate to the point of obsession. On a legitimate HD or 4K stream—say on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+ Hotstar—every mirror on a lehenga sparkles, every drop of gulal (colored powder) pops, and every gunshot glints.
