The story begins with Ben and his cousin Kevin arriving in the post-apocalyptic future, where they encounter Rex and Van Kleiss. Initially, Rex is wary of Ben and his alien transformations, but they soon realize that they need to work together to stop an evil organization known as the "Nanite-controlled" villains. These baddies are using the Nanite energy to create monstrous creatures and destroy what remains of the world.
