Design choices include richer metadata that records skills, mentorship roles, work narratives, and contributions to workplace culture—not only shifts and penalties. Versions (R7) could document learning curves and innovations, numeric IDs could link to portfolios rather than sterile payroll entries, and timestamps could flag not only hire/exit dates but also milestones and supports. Such practices resist dehumanization and acknowledge labor’s qualitative aspects.
